APC Reps meet Oshiomhole for automatic tickets
Members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the House of Representatives went into a meeting Thursday night with Adams Oshiomhole, APC National Chairman and other members of the party’s National Working Committee to demand automatic tickets.
The meeting is coming hours after APC began screening of aspirants ahead of next week’s primaries.
Femi Gbajabiamila, Majority Leader, House of Representatives and Chairman of APC Caucus in the House and other members started arriving APC National Secretariat, Abuja at 8: 30 pm for the closed-door meeting. Business Day observed.
Sources privy to the meeting told correspondent that the main agenda is to demand for automatic tickets for members seeking reelection.
The outcome of the meeting could not be ascertained at the time of this report but sources quoted Oshiomhole of once invoking the biblical injunction that “a faithful servant deserves reward” to subtly assured some reelection bidders of automatic tickets.
