
Taraba Govt Imposes Curfew On Wukari After Attack On APC Convoy

The Taraba State government has imposed a curfew on Wukari from 6 pm to 6 am starting from today, January 17, 2019.
The imposed curfew comes after an attack on the convoy of the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Sani Danladi.
The State Governor, Darius Ishaku has urged the people to be law abiding and to cooperate with the law enforcement agencies in order to avoid further deterioration of the security situation in the town.

He advised politicians to exercise restraint as they move around to campaign and to ensure that thugs have no role to play during campaigns and the elections.
