Hunger will be a thing of the past if Atiku is elected ― Titi Atiku

WIFE of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential candidate, Mrs Titi Atiku Abubakar, on Wednesday, assured Nigerians that the prevalent hunger in the country would soon be a thing of the past if her husband, Atiku Abubakar is elected as the president of the country in the forthcoming election.

Mrs Abubakar who made this assurance while canvassing support for her husband in Akure, Ondo state capital, assured that her husband would ensure that most basic needs of people would be met to prevent starvation and hunger in Nigeria,

She also assured that more jobs would be created for the youths and women in the country saying unemployed youths and women would be taken off the streets.

She stated that unemployment had pushed a number of youths into criminal activities but said: “Atiku is a job creator, he is an employer of labour and he will replicate this to turn around the country economy.”

She noted that the present administration in the country had  plunged Nigeria into economic crisis, insecurity, massive poverty and unemployment, making life difficult for a common man, but said: “All these will be a thing of the past.”

She, however, said Atiku will return an all-inclusive government and expressed optimism that her husband give priority to the restructuring of the country within the first six months of his administration

She said: “This man has been tested and trusted. He was there as the Vice President before and he will do it again.

His experience from the public and private sector will be put into practice. He played a key role in the former President Obasanjo’s economic team, the eight years with President Obasanjo was meaningful to Nigeria and Atiku will do it again.

“We’re in bondage, nothing seems to work again in Nigeria,  Vote Atiku to liberate us. It’s an inclusive government that we are going to have because it would be the government by the people and for the people. We want to be the servant of our people because we are the chosen one.

She urged the people to collect the Permanent Voters Card saying “this is the visa to send this administration out of office and usher in a new dawn in Nigeria.”

The National Vice Chairman of the party, Dr Eddy Olafeso, assured the wife of the PDP presidential candidate that Ondo state would be delivered for Atiku.

He called on the party member not to relent in their effort to ensure the emergence of Atiku in the next month presidential election.
