Armed bandits have chased away mourners from a graveyard at Kagi village, about three kilometres from Science Secondary School Birnin-Gwari in Kaduna State on Saturday.

The incident occurred, around 8.40 am, when relatives and volunteers, as well as a handful of Policemen, went to Kagi for the burial of two victims of armed bandits attack.

A statement from Birnin Gwari Vanguard for Security and Good Governance on Saturday disclosed that the gunmen shot indiscriminately at the mourners at the graveside.
