By Benjamin Kalu Foundation is set to bring laughter on the faces of the less privileged again by distributing about 200,000 free exercise books to school Children in his constituency, Bende Federal constituency.
Benjamin Kalu who is a Barrister and solicitor of the Nigeria Supreme believes that education should not be for the rich only but also for the poor masses in the state which is one of the reasons he embarked on the free distribution of the exercise books in order to ensure that what is good for the goose is also good for the gander.

During a chat with Igbere TV reporter, when IGBERE TV, Abia Breaking News and AbaCityBlog visited his palatial country home in Bende on Saturday, 17th March, the Barrister cum Business man and philanthropist encouraged teachers to be good examples to the children and to always inculcate good moral behaviors in the children because they are the leaders of tomorrow.
He equally admonished students to always listen to their teachers, fathers and mothers if they want to succeed in life. He told them what is recorded in Ephesians 6 : 1-3
” Children, be obedient to your parents in union with the Lord, for this is righteous”.
“Honor your father and your mother” is the first command with a promise”.
“That it may go well with you and you may remain a long time on the earth.”
Also, speaking on his Ben Kalu’s Foundation , he said that ” ”the aim and objectives of establishing the foundation was to cater for widows and the less privileged in the society as well as building the youths who will in future build the nation , stressing that the foundation has touched the lives of the people of Bende by providing the needed necessary amenities in the area”.
Benjamin kalu Foundation was established over 10years ago and since has executed several people oriented programs to bring succour to the less privileged in the society.
