BREAKING: NASS Leadership Meet With INEC Boss

The Senate President, Bukola Saraki and Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, are currently meeting with the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Mahmood Yakubu in Abuja.
The meeting with the NASS leadership is to discuss the funding of the 2019 general elections and the Electoral Act Amendment Bill.
The Senate President had on Monday convened a meeting with the INEC boss to hold yesterday (Tuesday ) which was later postponed, following the siege that was laid to the National Assembly by officers of the Department of State Services (DSS).
Dr Saraki in his meeting with the INEC boss today questioned why the request for funds is coming to the National Assembly nearly three weeks and not a few months ago.
