3 women die in auto crash in Enugu
By TRAGEDY struck in Enugu yesterday as three women lost their lives while fifteen others were seriously injured in a fatal motor accident.
It was learnt that the auto crash which occurred at Ogbaku, along Enugu-Port-Harcourt Expressway at about 7 pm, had a 508 commercial Mercedes Benz bus with registration number: ENU 350XZ colliding with a Hummer bus with registration number: XB 205 XPR.
The three women passengers were said to have died on the spot.

Confirming the incident on Friday, the State Police Public Relations Officer, Ebere Amarizu, said: “The road mishap left three women dead while fifteen others including their drivers were left with various degrees of injuries.”
Amarizu also said that those injured were rushed to the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital Ituku Ozalla (UNTH) Enugu for medical attention, adding that the deceased have been deposited at the hospital mortuary.
