2019: Atunwa, Abdulrasaq, 30 others to contest governorship election in Kwara

Thirty- two governorship candidates are to participate in the 2019 governorship elections in Kwara State.
According to the information provided by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Ilorin, the state capital yesterday, there are three female governorship candidates in the race for the state’s number one political office.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has Abdulrahman Abdulrasak, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) submitted the name of Razak Atunwa, while Labour Party has Comrade Issa Aremu as its gubernatorial candidate.
Three Kwara female governorship candidates are Muibi Muibat Aduke of the APA, Comfort Yinka of the UPP and Rukayat Toyin Tijani of the MPN.
The Director voter Education, Jacob Ayanda, said that the political parties have window of opportunities to change or replace names on or before December 1, this year.
