Thousands of party members and supporters from various constituencies of the state graced the occasion, pledging their unalloyed support in votes for all PDP candidates.

Delta State PDP chairman, Chief Kingsley Esiso, said Deltans’ vote for PDP was a vote for peace, joy and equity among the three senatorial districts of the state.

“We nor dey quarrel, the political game we dey play here na among every senatorial district, Delta Central don do their own, Delta South don do their own, now na Delta North turn.

“So we nor go dey play wayo dey cheat ourselves, na make we say, make we dey do am like this, so that peace and happiness go dey for all of us together, some people say na change dey wan bring come, but as you see na hardship, poverty and suffering follow dey come,” he enthused.

Esiso, who also used the occasion to introduce various aspirants vying for political positions in the state and at the national level, urged Deltans to vote for PDP in order to sustain the dividends of democracy, existing peace and unity among Deltans, and sustainable development across the State.

Addressing the mammoth crowd in Koko, and Sapele town respectively, Senator Okowa, who was in company of his deputy Mr Kingsley Otuaro and their spouses and other government functionaries, said the so called ‘change’ brought by APC has only brought hunger and privation to the people.

“My people, I wan thank una for the support una give me for the first tenure, and we don assure una say the good things wen this government don dey do, we go continue dey do am.

“Delta State na state wen God don bless with good leaders, since day one to rule, but some people wen promise change wan scatter the peace and unity when we dey enjoy for the state.

“Make una nor let anybody come deceive una, play wayo say na change dey wan bring again, that na big lie, den wan bring hunger, poverty, and joblessness, make una vote Okowa, and Atiku for prosperity,” the governor noted.
