Don’t vote for analogue President again ― Secondus
By THE National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Mr Uche Secondus, on Monday, called on Nigerians not to elect analogue President but a leader who is abreast of the new world social order and capable of turning around the country positively.
Secondus who stated this in Acute, Ondo state capital, during the campaign for the presidential candidate of the PDP in the next month election, said: “Nothing seems to be working in the country because Nigerians elected a sleeping leader.”
According to the PDP Chairman, all the steps were taken by the president and the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) since they assume power in 2015 had ended in failure.
He attributed the failure of the APC to turnaround the fortune of the country “to the sleeping president” saying the president is sleeping, the economy is sleeping, security is sleeping and unemployment is the order of the day.
“We need a digital president who can turn the nation’s economy around for the better and the best. This is why we are presenting the best man who can do the job, who has been tested both in the public and private sector.”
Speaking during the campaign, Abubakar Atiku, said APC has failed to live to expectations and not keeping to its electoral promises.

He said the APC deceived Nigerians with the promise to tackle insecurity, turnaround the economy and provision of three million jobs but said people had lost more than 10m jobs in the last three years.
He, however, said the PDP was on a rescue mission to save Nigeria from further sinking, noting the APC had misgoverned the country by making promises which were not fulfilled.
He stated, “APC promised us security but they failed, they promised food security but there is hunger in the land, promised to fight corruption, but they are dining with corruption.”
He urged the electorates to “go out and vote, protect your votes, don’t let them steal your vote after they had stolen your jobs. They are planning to steal your votes and never planned to campaign for this election.”
