Counterpart funding of projects, Anambra govt unbeatable, says official
By THE Senior Special Assistant to Governor Willie Obiano on Public Utilities, Mr Victor Menu said the Anambra State Government is currently ranking as one of the best in responding 100 per cent to up-to-date meeting counterpart funding.
Mr Meju who disclosed this while exchanging views with some selected journalists in Awka, over the weekend, noted that the gesture by Gov Obiano had helped to attract many EU, UNICEF and World Bank-assisted projects and in the process reining in many development projects to the state.

He noted that Gov Obiano was a renowned administrator and a public-oriented governor, who would want his people to enjoy dividends of democracy.
The SSA added that state government’s effort to meet up with the counterpart funding showed that Obiano was always interested in giving the state world-class facelift.
