DG NBMA loses 18-year-old son to motor accident

The Director-General of National Biosafety Development Agency (NBMA), Dr Rufus Ebegba has lost his 18-year-old son to a ghastly motor accident.

In a statement issued by Dr Ebegba, his son Tega Rufus Ebegba who died on 4th May, 2019, will be laid to rest on Thursday 9th May, 2019.

The statement reads, “with heavy hearts and a deep sense of sorrow, the family of Dr. Rufus Ebegba, Director General/CEO, National Biosafety Management Agency (NBMA) wish to announce the untimely death of their son, Tega Rufus Ebegba, who passed onto glory after a ghastly motor accident, on the 4th of May 2019.

“Tega will be laid to rest on Thursday, 9th May, 2019 in Abuja. Tega who was 18 years old was the first son of Dr. Ebegba. The entire staff of the Agency mourn his death and pray for the comfort of the family.

“The Minister of Environment, Surveyor Suleiman Hassan Zarma, Conservator General, National Park Service, Ibrahim Goni, Director General, National Seed Council, Dr. Philip Ojo, staff of Nigeria Customs Service, members of the Board of NBMA, among other close relatives have come to pay their condolences to the family.

“May the soul of Tega Rufus Ebegba rest in eternal peace with our Lord.”
