Russia 2018: Croatian fans tip Super Eagles to top Group D
By Croatia fans at Kaliningrad who spoke to BusinessDay on Thursday night June 14th, mentioned that Nigeria’s Super Eagles parades the best team in Group D that has Argentina, Croatia and Iceland at the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
“This is one of the best team Nigeria is taking to the World Cup and also the favourite in Group D and will defeat Croatia on Saturday.” said a Croatian fan with smiles on his face.
“The team is united and hungry for success and eventually top the the group and may be the only African country to get to the last eight in competition.
“Yes, Croatia has quality players, but these players are not ready to stake their bodies for the nation as not to return to their clubs with injuries. They play better at club levels, but not with the national team,” said another fan with worry on his face.
Nigeria will play their first game against Croatioa on Saturday June 16th at the Kaliningrad Stadium, Kaliningrad.
