Ogun Govt To Empower 200 Youths Under Agriculture Scheme
The Ogun State government has flagged off the first phase of the FADAMA Undergraduate Unemployed Youths and Women Scheme.
The programme is aimed at encouraging the participation of women and the youth in general in Agriculture, as part of efforts to boost the state’s economy.
During the event which took place at the Arcade ground of the governor’s office in Abeokuta, the state capital, the governor announced the adoption of 200 successful beneficiaries of the first phase of the scheme.
He said the beneficiaries will be provided with farmlands as well as improved agricultural seedlings, species and suckers to kick start their agricultural experience.
