Rafael Nadal of Spain has defeated Russian Daniil Medvedev to win the 2019 US Open men’s title, claiming his 19th Grand Slam title.

The victory means Nadal, 33, has now won four US Open crowns after wins in 2010, 2013, and 2017, and leaves Medvedev, 23, chasing his first major title.
