Otedola Bridge tanker incident: Death toll now 12
By LAGOS State government on Monday said the number of deaths recorded following the tanker explosion that occurred on Otedola Link Bridge has risen to 12 from initial nine that was reported.
This was just as the government said it has commenced processes for DNA test to identify dead victims of the sad incident, asking relations, including mother/father, child, sibling, uncle or aunt of those who suspected their family members to report to the Lagos State DNA and Forensic centre on Broad Street, opposite CMS Bookshop.
The State’s Commissioner for Health, Dr Jide Idris, said this at a press conference which took place at the government secretariat, Alausa, Ikeja.
