I’m feeling good, says Buhari on return from holiday

BuhariAfter two weeks stay in London, President Muhammadu Buhari returned to Abuja on Saturday, declaring that he is feeling good.

He jetted out of the country on August 3 for what was announced as a 10 working days holiday in the United Kingdom.

On arrival at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja, he was asked by reporters how he felt as he responded: “I’m feeling good. I am feeling good.”

On hand to receive him were the governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello, Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari, and the Minister of Federal Capital Territory, Muhammad Bello.

Also in the welcome party we’re Chief of Defence Staff, Gen. Gabriel Olonisakin; Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Tukur Buratai; Chief of Naval Staff, Rear Admiral Ibok Ekwe Ibas; and Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshall Abubakar Sadique; Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris and Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC), Ibrahim Magu.

Also, there to receive President Buhari were his media aides, Femi Adesina, Garba Shehu, Laurette Onochie and political associates.

The president is expected to travel to his hometown, Daura in Katsina state for the Sallah holiday.
