Yusuf remains PDP governorship candidate in Kano ― Party
By The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Friday affirmed that Engr Abba Kabir Yusuf remains the bona-fide Kano state governorship candidate of the party for the March 9, 2019 election.
A statement issued by Kola Ologbondiyan, National Publicity Secretary and Director, Media & Publicity PDP Presidential Campaign Organization, pointed out that the order of the Court of Appeal on Thursday, March 7, 2019, restraining INEC from removing the name of Yusuf from the list, as the governorship candidate for the PDP, has completely put to rest all controversies regarding the PDP candidate for the election.
The statement commended the Court of Appeal for delivering justice by upholding the lawful nomination of Yusuf as the PDP candidate for the Kano state governorship election.
“All stakeholders are advised to note the order of the Court of Appeal and be guided accordingly,” the statement said.
