AS the 2019 general elections draw nearer and politicians going around to canvas for votes, the gubernatorial candidate under the platform of the Green Party of Nigeria (GPN ), Alhaji Adamu Jumba has assured that if elected as the next Bauchi State Governor in the forthcoming March 2, 2019, gubernatorial election, he will make a difference by being fair and just to all as well as address the decay in the education sector.

Mohammed Jumba stated this on Wednesday in Bauchi after he returned from electioneering campaign in Kirfi and Alkaleri Local Government areas of the State, saying that the educational sector of the state has been neglected by the present administration due non-provision of learning and infrastructure and vowed to reposition the sector if elected governor in 2019.

The GPN candidate added that “I recalled that it was Government who sponsored my education up to my first and second degrees but today Bauchi state government is paying N30m monthly to one person for the supply and protection of Governor Abubakar posters instead of paying students scholarships”.

He also accused government of neglecting basic needs of its people especially in the area of education, health care, construction of road networks, agriculture adding that but instead giving priority attention to what will benefit a few people directly or their cohorts at the expense of the generally of people of the state due to lack of fear of Allah and pledge to rescue the situation in he became a governor in 2019.

Mohammed Jumba also said that the coalition of Political Parties, Governorship candidates, their deputies and other stakeholders is a good omen to the state and it will help to sack the non-performing administration from office.

“by seeing Political Parties and Governorship candidates and prominent stakeholders coming together to fight for a common goal is a milestone achievement, and all the candidates are ready to see if they will allow one of them to contest so that others will support him is part of the goodwill to save the state, we are making progress we carried electorates along with us and we will continue to move forward until we succeed, by the grace of Allah we will succeed”, he assured.

The GPN Guber candidate then advised the electorates in Bauchi State to shun money politics look at their future and the future of their children and grandchildren and elect a credible leader that has a fear of Allah that can carry out the work that will develop the state.

He expressed optimism that his party, GPN will win the election because of the good vision and mission he has for the state and his commitment to educating the people of Bauchi State over his manifestoes which is yielding a positive result.

“I just returned from Kirfi and Alkaleri Local Government Area where I met the electorates and other stakeholders, we discussed a lot over our manifestoes and they understood us and we are succeeding, in sha Allahu we will win the election”, he declared.
