Dickson To Inaugurate Bayelsa International Airport
Bayelsa State Governor, Seriake Dickson, is set to lead other notable Nigerians to embark on an inaugural flight into the Bayelsa International Airport.
The Commissioner for Information and Orientation in the state, Mr Daniel Iworiso-Markson, announced this in a statement on Wednesday.
According to him, the governor will fly into the airport in an aeroplane which will take off from the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos on Thursday.
Iworiso-Markson added that the plane is expected to touch down on the 3.5km runway of the airport at about 1:00 pm.

He described the inaugural flight which coincides with the seventh anniversary of the Dickson administration as a watershed in the developmental trajectory of the state.
The commissioner explained that the airport project was undertaken solely by the present state government and would bring the world to Bayelsa and take Bayelsa to the world.
He called on the residents to go out and witness the occasion which he described as ‘historic’.
