The much-anticipated movie, ‘Shadow Parties,’ has received a boost with the addition of veteran actress, Sola Sobowale and two Hollywood actors to the cast.

The Media Concept Studio-sponsored movie, produced and directed by Yemi Amodu, which has gone under post-production stage, has a plot twist, as it will feature energetic actress, Sola Sobowale, Hafis Oyetoro, Magdalena Korpas and Lucien Morgan, with the lead actress, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde.

According to the director, Amodu, the plot has enriched the production, while assuring movie lovers to watch out for an excellent production in few months’ time.

Lucien Morgan is an actor and producer known for An American Werewolf in London (1981), Return of the Don (2016) and Theft Unexpected (2013), while Magdalena Korpas is a film and stage actress based in Paris, but born in Gdansk, Poland.

Shot in Lagos, Ibadan and Akure, Shadow Parties is a story about Aremu (Ken Erics), who hails from Aje, a town that borders Iludun, where his wife, Arike (Toyin Aimakhu) is born. Known for fratricidal wars, which claimed the lives of Arike’s parents, the towns are, one more time, thrown into war after the kinsmen of Aremu decide to burn his wife and child, claiming she is an enemy and also triggering a reprisal from the Iluduns, led by Lowo (Yemi Blaq), Arike’s brother.

A paradox of communal clash, “Shadow Parties” encapsulates the endless political intrigues that will later transform into blood business of arms and ammunition and, of course, the killings of innocent residents, which is an exposition of reality.

Other casts in the movie are Segun Arinze, Prince Jide Kosoko, Ken Erics, Toyin Abraham, Said Balogun, Sola Kosoko, Rotimi Salami along with Yemi Blaq, the lead actor.
