2019: Udensi Declares for Abia Guber Race, Honours Victims of ‘Python Dance’

A security expert and chieftain of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, in Abia State, Sir Chikwe Udensi has officially declared his intention to contest as Abia state governor in the 2019 general elections.
The grand declaration which took place at Ngwa High School, Aba had APGA national, state and local government leaders as well as faithful of the party from the 17 local government area in attendance.
Addressing the mammoth crowd, Sir Udensi who first berated the state government’s complacency that caused 97 Abians to be killed during the Military Operation Python Dance exercise in the state, directed a one minute silence in honour of the slain souls.
He promised that if given an opportunity to lead the state, he would bring his experience to bare by tackling insecurity in the state frontally that will in turn allow investors to come in for business to thrive in the “once renowned commercial state.”
The security expert also assured Abia electorate that the party will defend its votes, emphasizing that “now we can defend our votes, APGA will win and defend its votes this time around and PDP should start preparing their handover note for me. I am the best governor for Abia state.”
Udensi decried the plight of pensioners and workers in the state who have been owed backlog of salaries and promised that if elected, “the issue of owing workers will be a thing of the past.”
On the rumours making the rounds that he is being sponsored by the PDP, Udensi asked “can PDP buy me? Can they even pay salaries? I urge you all to get your PVCs, PVC means Please Vote Chikwe.
I won’t spend my time responding to every idiot saying nonsense, let me assure you I, Chikwe Udensi have put myself forward for the office of the governor and will not disappoint you.”
