Nasarawa APC senatorial candidate promises to tackle infrastructural deficit

Nasarawa North senatorial candidate under the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Godiya Akwashiki has promised to embark on massive infrastructural development across all the communities in the zone if elected into the red chamber come 16th February.

Akwashiki, who is currently Deputy Speaker of the State House of Assembly, made the promise at the weekend while addressing APC supporters at Agyaga, Gwanje and Moroa electoral wards of Akwanga Local Government Area of the state.

According to him, the essence of embarking into infrastructural development is to better the standard of living of the people of the district and the state at large.

Urging electorate to vote for him, President Buhari and all other APC candidates during the 2019 elections in order to continue enjoying more dividends of democracy.

The senatorial candidate, further stressed that within a week he will rehabilitate Nunku/Agyaga and Gwanje road in order to reduce the plights of the residents plying the road and also to boost their agricultural and socio-economic activities.

“Also within the next week, I will also sink some boreholes in Gwanje ward and also to reactivate some boreholes in Moroa ward as well as to construct a culvert along Moroa road.

“If elected into the red chamber on the forthcoming election, I will provide more of infrastructural facilities like electricity among other amenities,empowerment programmes for the youths and women.

“As I always said, my records and my achievement are there and straight forward for everyone to see.

“The people of my constituency and the state at large can testify to what I have done from 2011 to date towards bettering the standard of living of my people.

“I have done a lot, I will do more and you will see a lot of positive changes if elected on February 16,” he said.

Akwashiki promised to carry everybody along and to key into positive policies and programmes that would have a direct bearing on the lives of the people of the senatorial directly and the country at large.

The APC senatorial candidate further promised robust legislature and sound representation, if elected to the red chamber come February 16.

Besides, he also advised electorate who are yet to collect their Permanent Voter’s Card(PVCs) with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to do so.

This is to enable them to vote President Buhari and other APC candidates during the forthcoming elections and beyond.

Some of the stakeholders and party supporters who spoke during the rally commended Akwashiki for his continued assistance to the people and communities across the state.
